In the coming months we will be posting new articles on this website about the lives and acheivements of some of the scientists and innovators associated with Yorkshire. .
We should be very pleased to receive articles written by YOU about any scientist or inventor that you have an interest in. We have already had a great response and have received many articles during January and February. However, we would be delighted to receive more - the list below shows some of the persons we have not yet received articles about. If you would like to contribute an articel fro a person not on the list, please contact Avijit Datta first (editor@yorksphilsoc.org.uk).
The articles should preferably consist:
1. circa 800 words
2. Pictures
3. Unusual facts about the scientist and/or his/her discovery i.e "Did you know ... ..."
4. Practical relevance/ applications of the discovery
5. Link with Yorkshire / YPS
