The Yorkshire Philosophical Society a wide range of interests from pure science to local history.  On occasions, certain issues may stimulate members to get further involved in specialist interest groups. Many of these interests may be catered for by existing local or national organisations (see Resources page).  However, there is also the opportunity of joining or organising at a local level, a more intimate group for research, discussion and/or promotion of a specific issue.  The Society encourages and, where appropriate supports such activities. 

If you are already a member or would like to form a special interest group either for informal social reasons or more formal academic reasons, please contact The Society to arrange inclusion in our website, advertise to other members the aims of the group and to find out more about other forms of support.
